PASSENGER AGENT

Position type: Permanent, part-time

Purpose

This incumbent will be responsible for the registration of the passengers and their luggage.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome, inform and direct the passengers at the check-in counter.
  • Register the passengers as well as their luggage in the computer system.
  • Give exceptional and personalized customer service.
  • Conform to the legal rules pertinent to the airport industry, Health and Safety at work as well as all the other company’s policies and work procedures.
  • Be able to react properly in case of emergency and apply the measures to be taken.
  • All other tasks necessary for the good operation of the Passenger Service Department.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Airport / Airline Experience, an asset.
  • Diploma in Tourism, an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French, English), essential.
  • Available and flexible to work various shifts (day, evening, week-end and holidays).
  • Meet Transport Canada requirements stipulated in the “Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program”.
  • Must have either Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status.
